This proposed book was injunction with Juan Carlos Rivera’s graphic design course at CCA. For the duration of the semester we focused on researching one subject: Bossa Nova.

With this we created logo’s, books and other posters as a exploration into what it mean visually. The end goal was to create a book that was looking at the speculative future of Bossa Nova.

My concept was to think how climate change, especially sea-level rise would affect the beach culture that Brazilians have known to love. In my book I used color transparencies to give the effect of the sea-level rising over Sao Paulo.
